What do you all want added to the kit? OEM's, not gonna d a lot of them as it detracts from the simplified approach.

I will however make splash screens selectabel
and today screens selectable.

Anything else you want me to carve out and make selectable?

Also, trying to figure out a way to eaasy integrate BOOT SCREENS as well. That would be further down the road though.... BUT very very doable.

Then I will move on to integrating all this in the PPCK! GUGURU is gonna help with that. So that will be a big stepping stone for me.
I think a little more detail on the OEM files would be wise. I can usually figure out what each OEM does and what it means to my overall product. Many out there do not fully understand what each individual OEM file does. I think this will help with the NooB friendliness you are after. I think there is a fine line tho and if too much detail is given it just turns into an encyclopedia....when was the last time you picked up one of those for fun?

I don't think you should put too many OEMs in the Kitchen. That will just add confusion to the mix. Most OEMs are readily available to grab and add to your kitchen if they are wanted.

AutoRun is the **** and including it on all future ROMs is a must. I used this feature extensively on my 6800 and am thrilled to have it on my TP. I think Bob has a great idea with the storage card thing. I personally install everything to my device (it has more than enough memory for the few programs I put on it).

SSKonline. Great idea....could always be improved. I do think it is possible to put too much online. Just keep in mind that it is designed to be viewed on our phones. The more you put up the more cluttered it will look. Maybe make different pages for the different options. Today screens on one page, Start buttons on another, fixes on a seperate page and then just put links to the different pages on the SSKonline main page.

Once again Bob is always thinking! I think having an archive of your previous ROMs is a genius move! I have kept every ROM and kitchen that I have used. I notice people mentioning a specific ROM of yours that they used and a specific problem. If I could download the ROM (obviously I didn't archive all of them because I didn't use all of them) I could try to reproduce the problem and potentially help.

As always thank you so much for what you do for the VZW TP community. It is and always will be greatly appreciated!

This post is probably all over the place so please bear with me! I have been away from my computer for almost 24 hrs and my thought process is all over the place! I'm really not sure how I made it that long! Oh ya...my TP!

I would also like to express my thanks to bored and his family during this time of their lives.

Edit: Holy #### this is a long message. Sorry for the novel!

Are you able to access any data?

More specifically what does the error state? Screenshot maybe?

Hmm I cant seem to access any data.

When Im browsing on IE it says "The page cnnot be displayed or downloaded because the connection was lost. check the connection and try again later"

and for weather it says:

"There was a connection error while attempting to download weather data. Retry?"

So what you are saying...would it be beneficial to use as stripped a ROM as possible and install cabs instead of OEMing the files? So they install to Program Files and not Windows? Or is there a way to OEM them in and install to an alternative directory?

Also, can some basic WinMo programs be moved out of the Windows directory and still work?

Can you make voice calls? Depending on how you hard reset (did it in settings instead of key presses), you may have to reactivate....*22899

Otherwise check the Comm Manager and make sure data is enabled.

Oh, you are using a VZW TP on Verizon, right?
