Nope, my voicemail code (*86p****) sticks but the ringtone doesn't and switching to another tab and hitting 'OK' just takes me back to the Phone Tab. I'm gonna hard reset again and see what happens.

Just double checked and both my voicemail code and my ringtone change stuck. Even tried calling my voicemail and it went thru. Then used another phone to call my cell and the different ringtone was what played.

I am using a rom I built with Calkulin's Kitchen 1.3.1 and I am having ring tone problems also. I get an error saying the ring tone is corrupted, etc. Of course it is not because I can play it with WMP. If I am lucky the ring tone will default to the windows one, if not it will not sound at all. I wonder if there is something similar between the two builds causing this.

Hard reset didn't fix the phone settings issue

Mine changed and worked initially....then reverted back. Didn't notice it until this morning when my phone rang extremely early!

tapres.dll is the dll that configures these settings. It did indeed change with the latest sys. Not sure what is causing this problem. I see it too.

If I dropped in another tapres.dll from another kitchen with same sys, would that cause any issues?
