I'm enjoying the 1.5 beta ... haven't found any problems - exchange sync is working fine.

Although I normally prefer SPB Mobile shell, I'm giving TouchFlo another go today ...

One note, I think I prefer the TouchFlo scrolling - it seems work in more programs. I can't finger scroll through emails (although finger scrolling works in the list of emails, when reading an email, the scrolling doesn't work). Another program I use (a scripture/reader program) also doesn't finger scroll ... Is there a .cab out there to add the TouchFlo scroll?

You should only see that change if you "Clear Storage" or if you flash a ROM that has the radio programming built in.

Yes, I know it exist. No no fix yet.... Its a test version of Manila I used.

I have rebuilt using the new E2 XIP from FPOS and will be posting a stanadard edition ROM for each carrier tonight.

If this test goes well then I will release the kitchen as well as the 6.5 and the 20764 add on modules.

Your correct.

If you want to save seom flashing and some headaches.... I have it all set up....

Just going to upload the beta ROM now then kitchen in a couple days.

I just cooked a new rom with SSK 1.2, using FormerPalm's 2E os.nb.payload, and the XIP, .ROM and .VM folders from his 3E zip package. CE OS and Build are now matching showing 21109 each.

About the 0 Page Pool thing, I didn't know that was geared for Sprint users only, but thought I would give it a try. It didn't break anything, it just didn't seem to improve anything either and did end up with less free RAM (but more TOTAL RAM) available after a boot, with all the same software installed. We're talking 1-2 MB so, no big deal. But it did slow some things down notably.

I've been running 12 MB PP for a while now but based on some recent 'trends' I did switch to 10 MB and didn't notice any decrease in speed.

I'm going to try to get along with the SSK 1.2/FormerPalm 2E hybrid and see how things go

As usual my first test will be restoring a backup made with SK tools, from 19XXX/21109 to 21109/21109. I HOPE it works because I am kinda worn out and setting everything back up again and again.

EDIT: LOL Scott beat you to it. I've been really eager to try to do something different as I have had some issues with the phone freezing on me, as well as the face buttons freezing up (though touch screen still responding), the issue with not being to ignore calls coming and going, a few other minor issues with just straight SSK 1.2, and I figured it can't hurt to try to get the CE OS and Build numbers back in sync.

No, you didint beat me to it. I am on my 5th flash with the matching XIP ;c)

I am getting great results.

I modified the PROVXML for the phone to allow the bluetooth issue to be fixed.

Im final flashing now and will upload soon.

I meant beat you to it as in, I had already flashed before you had told me to just hold off for the kitchen

Scott, I have a question that maybe you can answer. When I use SPB Backup, I noticed one thing about it that I never did like. In the Documents and Settings folder there are two files, one of them is like default.hv if I remember right. The one that usually sits around 336 KB in size.

Well, if I make a backup with SPB Backup, and then restore that backup later, the size of that file will usually double! However, when I make and restore backups with SK Tools backup utility, the file size never changes.

This really annoyed me back in my Samsung i760 days where you only have about 50 MB of free flash ROM available to begin with, and suddenly this default.hv is taking up 2/3 of a MB.

What is in that file?? Why would SPB Backup bloat it up like that? Is there any way to 'slim it back down', without doing a hard reset?

I hope that you're going to put some Pro's and Con's to each of the varieties. I've been following all the threads, and right now, I can't tell you what the difference is between them....other than 21109 being newer.
