I'm not going to get into kitchen talk because that's not what this thread is about but I will comment on this. Those 2 modules have nothing to do with the Verizon phones not booting, looking at the map you posted, there were other removals you did that caused it

And FormerPalmOS, no offense taken on the splash, preference is just that preference

actually you are wrong that is not the xip I used that did not boot on VZW so educationally guess again Thanks huh ...

1) Can you upload is as os.nb.payload instead of XIP.BIN - or is that too device specific? If device specific, was this for a Verizon Touch Pro or Sprint?

2) Can you post the map.txt?

3) On what SYS version is this based? What OEMXIP pack?

If it all matches, I'd like to take yours and apply the cache tweaks I've been playing with to see what I get.

Man this community on PPC Geeks is slowly falling apart because of the constant battles and flame wars over stupid stuff that if said constructively would never form into the battles that are rampant amongst these forums. People need to chill out and think before they speak here or else many will be moving onto different places.

BTW, lllboredlll I was the one flamed a while back for trying to help with the XIP porting instructions.

I know I just wasn't gonna involve your name. I would of loved to been able to use that thread as a resource but had to go to god ol' xda for my answers. Seems to be against the law around here to have those kind of discussions and tutorials.

Yea man, i agree. I can teach you how to do it if you want, but now theres a tool that does it all for you.
