Better safe than sorry.....keep the stock rom on your SD card flash before you walk into the store..... and re-locking is not critical....but as Ivan said it is your choice....I personally always flash back to stock and re-lock....

I always check, but rarely reject a phone if it's unlocked. If it's a hardware issue, I'm not going to be that guy and say that your custom rom caused your device to stop charging. Now if you come to me with software related issues, and on a custom ROM, I won't even look at the phone.

I flash to stock and relock. If I take it to a repair center it is going to need replaced and they always want to try a hard reset anyway. I don't even bother adding contacts or anything before I take it in.

I jinxed myself. My screen is a little loose in the closed position.

How will you know if its been re-locked correctly...will something in bootloader tell me? I flashed a stock but I don't know if I re-locked right.

Holy crap, why have you gone thru so many TPs so far? What kind of problems did you have? I want a new one! Have some chrome coming off, but don't think thats going to warrant a replacement since i think its from dropping it. If I complain about the GPS enough, will they replace?

You can tell when it first boots up.. If it says 2.40 or SPL-Hard unlock or something like that, then it is unlocked..

Thanks...Its still unlocked then, but I did flash a stock. I just need to re-lock.

edit: ok, it's re-locked, but it keeps soft resetting itself.
