I'll give you the quick explanation to help you. There are 2 separate roms installed on your Touch Pro, no matter what brand you are using.

1) OS Rom (Mighty Rom)
2) Radio Rom (Whichever you have installed.)

The Radio roms, even though they are named by specific carries, are actually interchangeable and for the most part work on any touch pro regardless of carrier. Each carrier brands their radio which is why you have Verizon, Telus, etc etc.

As long as the radio is designed for the Touch Pro and is for CDMA, make SURE its for CDMA, then it will work.

RESULTS however are a different story. The results you get for each radio are completely trial and error and depdn on many factors such as Carrier, location, Network, and signal strength. You have to try different radios to see what works best for you and your device.

I currently use the Telus radio and love it !

is it true you can not go back to stock radio? and i live in Eastern NC on the coast and have never heard of the carrier telus other than its the best radio...i think i might try it ...

on another note i flashed the may 8th rom like 10 mins after mighty uploaded and everything was fine untill i used the volume control on the side of the phone...volume messed up and became distored so i installed the stock audio para on the first page and it did nothing..any ideas

Telus is a canadian carrier. Did you hard reset/clear temp after flashing? Sometimes there are items left behind after a flash and a hard reset should fix them.

Yes. as of right now only Sprint, Verizon, Telus, and US cellular radios are avail in the CDMA radio thread

Any custom taskbars installed (are the WM 6.5 compatible)? Which carrier are you using? What have you installed?

Just a guess but it sounds like a HTCVolumeControl.dll issue. I'm looking for a post I saw on this previously but I'm not having much luck searching for it.
I'll keep looking also perhaps send a PM to Conflipper and see if he has any suggestions.
