16mb is the sweet spot trust me...I thought changing the pagepool to 20mb or 24mb would make it faster....well it was just a lil bit faster but my battery life suffered from it....16mb seemed slow on first boot but after a min or so it was fine and silky smooth and then yesterday I installed gfxboost .07 and it made the animations from the panels quicker....loving it so far...

after you uninstall the cdmabattery driver soft reset, then uninstall the taskbar then soft reset again, and then reinstall the taskbar....what other programs you have installed?
