Has anyone noticed that (null) shows up before the names in text messages? This seems to happen on the first two texts in a thread.

For example a text that I start would show:

(null) Me (3:24PM):
test

Then if you exit the text thread and re-enter a bunch of rectangles show up...similar to a text editor that doesn't support a font.

I did a hard reset with the same results.

I searched this forum for the word "null" and didn't come up with anything relevant. Any ideas? Is this a known issue?

My Notifications settings are getting lost after an overnight reboot. At 5am, SPB backup runs and reboots my phone. When I wake up, my "New Email message" and "Reminders" keep having the "Display message on screen" disabled. I re-enable them and the process repeats daily.

I'm not sure if this is a ROM issue, a bug with SPB Backup, or a bug with the Touch Pro. Has anyone else noticed this, and if so isolated the problem?

Like I said i am using 4/21/09 and have no problem with text nor ringers

I was using the 4/21/09 release with very little tweaking!!!

I flashed my vanilla VZ TP to MightyRom5 and had problems with the GPS not working. QuickGPS worked fine, but Google Maps would not locate anything. I went through every step I found in this thread with no luck so I flashed back to 4.16 in hopes of it working. No dice. Everything looks like it's in order and quickgps is opening and downloading etc.

Also I am having problems installing .NET 3.5. It errors out and I need it for a program at work.

I tried that 1 yesterday and it didnt work for me! Kept getting hung on the Bootup screen!! Just an FYI!

Click on the link in my Signature.. Funny I just added a GPS not working section. It works fully with MR5.

Your .NET CF 3.5 is erroring out BECAUSE IT'S ALREADY INSTALLED. 3.5 comes with both Mighty Rom 4.16 AND Mighty Rom 5.

I ended up flashing back to 4.16 because I missed the old start menu & the fact that Pocket Informant isn't ready for 6.5 yet. I decided to try somethin different so I set the page pool to 27 & this thing is blazing, lol.
