i'm having a hard time using wifi with this release... there's no scanner to show what access points are available. anyone know how to access this?

Yes.. below is the link for stock roms and in there you will find the sprint stock shipped rom.. you would just flash back using that ROM

What do you mean? Just go to:
Start->Settings->Connections->Connections->WiFi

it just brings me to the program where you can choose an adapter, there's no option to pick access points.

They are going to add the ESN for you ? You got lucky. VERY lucky. They changed their policies and as a result a lot of people that are using sprint hardware on Verizon just got a bunch of paperweights.

But if they are going to add the ESN you should be ok. It won't matter what radio your running as long as your ESN is added, The phone is properly registered to your account, you have a data plan added on your account, you are in a good coverage area, and you update your phones PRL via dialing *228 and hit option 1, let it finish then soft reboot.

let me start out by saying, holy crap, this is a awesome and very very stable rom. I finally found a rom that i will keep for a while. mighty, thanks man....... Now to my only, and i mean only 2 tiny grips that im sure can be fixed easily.... Is there a specific sprint TV for this rom, or a trick to get it to work, it installs fine but cant connect when trying to play a channel? Also is there a way to get the original htc streming media player? other than those very little problems, i love this rom, no wierd things happening and ive been on it for about 4 hours now. :u thanks again

im sad i cant use this rom im flashed to metropcs and my data connection wont work w this rom.. im not sure if its all 6.5 roms or not havent tried any others yet... and no i didnt install any thing else data just wont work no matter what i do
