Edit: Is there a way to have the phone lock when hitting the power button? Without having to install Slide 2 Lock? Hitting start then hitting lock is meh since start isn't exactly instant with the Verizon flavor.
Install device lock 1.1 and select lock on device wake up

Here's a link to that device lock program mentioned. Confirmed working great on 6.5 in the Copper thread.

I can't say which, if any, of these steps works to provision the phone but that is what I did and it worked for me. Guess you can try it too.

Ill try that thanks,

when is there going to be a cleanram for 6.5.. the one for 6.1 was great, but for 6.5 it really doesnt help

What radio are you using ? Did you do ANY radio updating AFTER installing the current rom ? If you updated the radio AFTER installing your current Mighty Rom you will need to either hard reset OR I can show you another method but its not as good. Updating the radio relocks the chip sometimes I've found. When the rom unlocks your gps chip it accesses the current radio and updates it to unlock the chip.

Also check following settings:

Phone/Location ON
Quick GPS Update again

Start/settings/system/External GPS
GPS program port: COM4
GPS harware port: NONE
under access check mark: Manage GPS Automatically

Googlemaps
OPTIONS/GPS Settings
Under My Location settings make sure MANAGED BY WINDOWS is checkmarked.

OPTIONS/ USE GPS

If it doesn't work soft reboot.. move 5 feet and launch Googlemaps again. It should work.
