OK. was finally able to unlock phone by the manual method off the device.
Flashed to Kevan's ROM and it's now going through the customizations. It appears that the ROM comes with something like a Staples Easy Button, because my first thoughts were, "man, that was easy!!" Can't wait to check out all that's included. Thanks again. |

Anyone try the new Resco Contact Manager? I'm kinda digging it. You can download a Beta from their site. Pretty sure its a non expiring Beta, so grab it when you can before they start charging for it.
Before you go and install it though, I must warn you that it ruins the S2A on this ROM. Currently trying to figure out how to restore the dialer but still have Resco Contact in there. Ahh...wait. Just figured it out. Had to disable "Handle Incoming Calls" in Rescos options and then soft reset twice. Ok. So now everything is working fine. Really liking Resco Contact......much nicer than iContact! EDIT: BTW everybody, I am REALLY liking this new Resco Contacts, its frikking nice. Couple little things in it that need to be ironed out (its beta still), but it is working without any problems on my phone. Love that it brings up contacts with the press of the Send key when at the home screen. . http://www.resco.net/pocketpc/contactmanager/ --housinit BTW Kev, great job on the new ROM! What was it you didn't like about IPC Clock? That it does not use the alarm notification on the home screen. Yeah, I wish I could figure out how to get that to work....I wonder who we could ask about that one. Last edited by housinit; 02-08-2009 at 04:57 PM. |

Whiskers - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=475005 - the hacker in me can't resist... Scrobble - http://forum.xda-developers.com/show...light=scrobble - Scrabble clone

Kevan -
Love v1.5 and all of my battery issues are GONE!!!! Same issue here with the weather database. Looks like HTC Weather was installed as an OEM maybe that is the issue. Just as a heads up I use tnyynt SD TuneUP to speed up SD access - really helps. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=446366

[+] SD Card Performance Tweaks Don't know why you'd need to install it as well. Was it left out of 1.5 or something?

Re: [2-8-09] KK's Loaded ROM v1.5 Sprint and Others [OS 5.2.21009 Build 21109] [UC]
Hey whats up guys, I flashed 1.4 and im having a problem with opera. Whenever I got certain websites either it doesnt display correctly or I cant click the text box to input text.
Take for instance I go to aol. sign in and when I get to mail, there are no links to new mail, sent mail, etc. It also doesnt show any new mail on the home screen. All i get is a message saying that aol has been optimized for the browser. Couple forums I go to, when I try to respond via the click reply button, when the text box comes up I cant select it. No matter how many times I click on it, all it does is zoom in or out. No blinking cursor ever appears to enter text. Anyone else with this problem or any help to solve it? |
