Hey Kevan,

I've had this rom for over a week and love it. Great work. I am having trouble with one thing. The touch full screen keyboard keeps disappearing. I hit the keyboard symbol and it doesnt come up. Also when it comes up sometimes it stays in the numerical keypad (pressing abc does not return to normal.) Any ideas?

Just noticed some other posts about weather database editor...guess i didnt look deep enough on the fone or the forum....sorry!

Just flashed this ROM gona give it a try for a few days. Had one lil lockup after installing weather database editor but a soft reset later and seems to be all good. There sure is alot to look thru! Loaded is an understatement. Only thing i would suggest is adding weather database editor or i saw an "all us cities" option in the ppckitchen. Perhaps adding one of those mite be kewl.

All in all first impression:

Impressive! my TP seems to be faster all the way around, a bit of lag when loading the all programs list, but with so much installed i wont call that a complaint.

Hey did anyone ever run into the logmein problem with PIE? Im still unable to load the remote control applet but im not sure where to start troubleshooting with this.

Installed this rom an hour after it was posted and have used or opened almost every app. I have not recieved any SMS spam, so I don't think its the rom. Or at least it isn't happening to me. Anyone else?

What are the spam SMS's about, that might point us to what is causing this.

This is a pretty bold statement and one that could stop people from using keven's ROM. I have been using his ROM for some time and upgrade to each and every new version. I have never had a SPAM SMS.

THIS ROM DOES NOT CAUSE SPAM SMS

I am sorry you got your first SMS spam... but it has NOTHING to do with this ROM. The same OEMs (1 updated file in Pandora) are in 1.5 and 1.6.

That said.... I got my first SMS spam on Sunday on my phone and my wife's Diamond running the leaked Sprint ROM. My belief is that someone is SPAMing a bunch of phone #s with messages.

I urge people to have information to backup these kind of claims. I don't have the energy or desire to deal with them. I hardly have time right now to work on the ROM.

My apologies. It is true I have no proof to back the claim and it could be argued that it is complete coincidence. I was wrong to post that. I deleted my post. I agree it was an unfair association without proof.
