there's few folder that has to be remove from the OEM and SYS folder. such as in the OEM folder, you have to remove the windows live and in the Sys folder, you have to remove the RingsandAlert folder.

i do not have any problem after removing those folder.

edit: the only problem im still encountering from all previous build starting from 21501 and 21222, is the battery icon and the taskmanager. They are very close to each other and is causing problem when clicking on them.

Does anybody knows how to get the menu enhancements to work on 6.5?
I do have it cooked, but it doesn't show.

I have been playing around with phy's 21046 xip but it has encryption in it and I do not want it. I cooked a rom up using the diamond kitchen and a tp 21046 xip, and it seems a bit quicker than 21043. Anyways look foward to Calkulin's official 21046 tp kitchen.

Huh I thought I took the encryption out... I modeled the xip after merdin's 21042 xip. Oops, heh.

Hey phy I may be wrong, but when I went to start/settings/system and find an encryption option. I found under encryption that it was checked on. If I uncheck it and go back in to encryption it is rechecked. I also found an a file on my sdcard called EncFiltLog.menc After being deleted it is re created on the sdcard on soft reset. Interesting... =)


Putting the following into the registry and a soft reset stops SD encryption.


[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\StorageManager\Filters\E NCFilt]

'EncryptByDefault'=dword:0

I will just have to make an oem with reg settings on build to insert this to the registry.

You are correct, I forgot to modify the xip to disable that. Merdin probably did a better job on the port anyway lol.

Merdin, were you able to get rid of the 'windows default' theme?
