Re: [ Discontinued ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROM

Remove the old ones and back them up.
Keep the ones that came with your new Manila packages.
You will be fine.

Edit: Remove the whole package not just the exe files as there will be links to missing files and could cause you errors.

I was able to mimick what TMartin did in his VK. Basically, he put the DeviceInfo_2_7_1_0 package as an OEM, which lives in the OEM directory with the OEMDrivers package. It's actually the same version as the one in the new Manila EXT packages. I'm gonna cook a new ROM right now to see if works and report back. Thanks again Root! I really appreciate the help.

Anytime my friend.
I try keep things out of my oem dir to make it easier to update within my ext folders.
Rom may be faster the other way but I am not sure if it makes a big diff.

Ok, tried it and it worked.. sort of.. I still get two Power icons, but that's an easy fix by removing the Manila 2012 power package. As for the Qilin phone canvas, it shows up with a scroll bar.. yuck. When the Tachi Phone Canvas and dialer did that, I copied phcanrc.dll into the Windows directory and it fixed it. Do you happen to know how I can get rid of the scrollbar with Qilin ?

I do not remember having a scroll bar there or not.
Is it always that way?
I do remember one dialer doing that but it was on and off.

Yeah, it's there regardless of what I do. No worries though, Tachi works just fine! BTW, which dialer/canvas do you use in your ROM's ?

Re: [ Discontinued ][ v4.2 ][ 6.5.x / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual VGA Kitchen & ROM

Ok here we go Guys.......

I put together something with 21056, 21892, 23534 & 28230. This also includes Manila 2.5.2012 ported by Amarullz. With WM6.1 & WM6.5.x, there are probably some issues just because they aren't the normal builds I work with (I'm COM2 for life!!! lol). I updated some EXT's and lots of OEM's. You guys are my little test guinea pigs since both of my Touch Pro's are backup phones and don't have service. Well check it out!!!

Does it include VGA Sense 2.1 too?

Working on a gimp'ed VZW TP, grrr.

2.1 is a little lighter than the 2.5 version is.

thanks,
