I realize this is not the forum for it, but I've searched and searched and cannot find a solution as you said. I thought that some of the ROMs that have been put out using this kitchen had Amarullz messaging incorporated into them. I figured one of them must have the solution as their ROMs work 100%. Maybe I'm mistaken and they are not running Amarullz messaging client, but using HTC's instead.

Hmmm... Now that's weird... I have never had that issue... Can you attach your build log (just the part that shows the manila packages and dependencies)?

the phones arrived today as expected, but i ended up with 1 refurb and 1 nib. had to call international cs to get a sim card for the refurb. they wanted $15 until i explained that it was a swap for a TP and they credited my account the $15 and will be getting the sim card on thursday.

i am gonna try building my own kitchen for the TP2 (i think its time to take the training wheels off and see if i can pedal on my own), although i will be comparing to calk's kitchen to make sure i did pay attention in class!!!

Im using calk's kitchen to make myself 6.1 roms, and ive had only one problem. The signal icon is still just dots. I have tried the signal icon fix from much earlier in this thread, with no luck. Im running manilla 1.2, nothing much else, no custom taskbars, etc.

Can anyone offer help?

I wish I could help, but I haven't used 6.1 since the very first builds of 6.5 leaked... And that was a LONG time ago.lol

What taskbar are you using?
What WM build?

Did you try a diff taskbar?

Sorry, didnt mean to come off as impatient, just thought it was funny, i post a reply and then BAM nothing happens for 24 hours.

I am using the stock windows build taskbar (i think, i didnt chose any of the 'aftermarket' taskbars in the kitchen, and the icons are white and plain)

The wm build is 21055, the latest 6.1 build from the 4.2 kitchen.

I did try a different taskbar, but i kinda really like the plain stock one. the little planets and color logos are a pain for me to read at a quick glance.

Sense 2.1, 2.5 or TF3D?
What signal fix did you use?
Search for signal fix in the main forum and see if you see any others to try.
I do not build 6.1 roms either but I will help if I can.

Im using touchflo3d, version 1.2/1.3 (1.2 black, 1.3 engine) Ill check in the main forum, thanks for the advice. I used the one that calk posted earlier in this thread, its called cdma rssi ppc something or other.
