Forgive me for being so behind the times, but can one of you guys that have HTCSense_amarullzNoMessagingClient up and running in your ROMs tell me how to fix the "The destination email address is not in the correct format. Please correct the format and try again. Msg 2106" error message I get when responding to texts through the text messaging tab in Sense 2.5?

I read about the regedit to "People.Message.IsCDMA"=dword:00000001. That didn't work for me.

I'm using HTCSense_amarullzNoMessagingClient 1.50. Is that the right one? It seems to work besides that error message. What else do I need to install along w/that as far as messaging goes to fix this? Thanks in advance for anyone's help? Sorry as I'm sure this as been covered long ago in this thread...

I upgraded to 2.0.0 Beta 3 and when in the texting screen my SIP wouldn't come up or even show on the taskbar. I wasn't able to send a text to test it out. Have you had the disappearing SIP issue or heard of a fix for it?

I realize this is not the forum for it, but I've searched and searched and cannot find a solution as you said. I thought that some of the ROMs that have been put out using this kitchen had Amarullz messaging incorporated into them. I figured one of them must have the solution as their ROMs work 100%. Maybe I'm mistaken and they are not running Amarullz messaging client, but using HTC's instead.

you are gonna love your tp2. I thought it would be just... cool. But I was blown away. Might be the "same" internal harware, but seems way better to me. See in the WVGA kitchen thread....
