Been cooking with Calk's kitchen for a month now, and am really getting into it - what a kickass thing this is!

I have a ROM setup that I really like, but there are still a few things I have to do manually after cooking to get it just the way I want.

I'd like to be able to have just about everything be cooked in and ready to go when the ROM is flashed, but there are a few things I just don't know how to do yet, and would really appreciate some advice/tips on:

1) WM theme. I use Amarrullz blueblack theme, and have it cooked in, but don't know how to make that the active theme when flashed (currently comes up with default blue theme)

2) custom icons. I'd like to associate custom icons with at least some of the packages. How do I get a custom icon into the shortcut in the EXT/files folder? Or am I barking up the wrong tree?

3) I'd also like to add folders in start menu / programs, and have specific packages drop their shortcuts into specific folders.

4) cabs with pesky prompts - how do I disable those? Like if I want to turn SkypeMobile.cab into an EXT, isn't it going to cause problems since there's a couple of prompts in the installation config? How do I get rid of that?

That's all I can think of for now, really appreciate any clues I can get.

Try these. I found them very useful when customizing my start menu, icons and themes, as well as installing cabs. I also attached a copy of my EXT that i use for my start menu and icons.

Only 420 modues are building... i am missing seven or so, my nbh is super small, and it's not doing all the "processing XYZ as file..." stuff either... any ideas?

found the problem... there were extra folders in the \SYS\23088\SHARED\COMMON folder. Delete, "dpi_96", "DPI_192", and "Shared"....

Thanks for the link. I'm trying 23088 out, but I didn't see a oemxipkernel folder so I don't have a xip 23088 to choose from when in the kitchen? How did you get around this?

Just copy the the old one, from 23071, to a new folder named 23088.
Should work... DaG says that they normally won't change much anyway.

that does work, just built one. make sure you delete the folders i mentioned above too...

speaking of modules...
-sounds like my favorite uncompatible-module-problem. Did you convert any Files->Modules that you could convert back and try rebuilding?

-Also, what's the best way to find all the straggling Resource-Only dll's. At the moment I have no modules being mapped to Slot60... that's alot of extra space
