I'm running the 9/23 053 build and cannot get my TP to connect to my Dlink router running with a 13 character WEP key. If anyone has any insight, I'd greatly appreciate it. I live in a pretty dense community so I'd rather not turn off WEP even just for testing purposes.
Unrelated to the topic but I would not use WEP anyway. easily crackable.

If you are in a dense location use WPA2...

Enjoy

Dude, can you please make your signature a little bigger? It only takes up 90% of my screen, and I can still see some of the thread.

do you have the eNatives Showcase Suite installed? users including myself have problems with it locking up outlook. i don't mind it as much since i can always just disable it.

This is generic Windows 23414 build, so yes it will work for Sprint and all other carriers.

thank you in advance
If you understand the folder layout of the VK, then you are almost there, but you need to copy your OEMXIP from another build (23053, etc) into a new folder named 23414 in the ROM\%device% folder.

When you run the kitchen, make sure you choose 23414 for your XIP and you should be good to go.

I have a ROM, but it is only base Windows system, no OEM extras at all. This build can be used in Calk's kitchen as long as you create a new 23414 OEMXIP folder for your device in the ROM\%device% folder; look at the layout and you will see what I mean. Just copy the OEMXIP folder from another build, and rename it to 23414.

When you cook, be sure to choose 23414 in the XIP and SYS options and you are good to go.

I'm using a 10MB PP on VZW.TP after trying between 6 -12. This just seems to be the sweet-spot for my unit, but most folk find 8 - 12 works for their phones.

Here's a link to the basic ROM:
