i eventually changed the background, but the animated weather isnt staying put. it almost seems to be timing out.

i did try kimi's 2 mods and they work proper.

i do believe that i will be stopping any manila 2.5 testing and stay with sense 2.1...

I know changing the wallpaper does stop it and i've heard kimi's BG4All stops it too.

Try my thread and install panos and test them.
I have exts of them but heading out now.
You can however convert the cabs if they work for you.
All my panos are full and based on rota pano.
Just install the cabs with no other pano installed.
They have everything in the cabs.
No need to install anything else to make them work.

Absolutely stunning. I copied over the required EXTs (album, engine, sense), added the retractable slider and BG4All, used your 2.1.x options, included the fix to disable push internet, and everything is running beautifully.

it doesnt. tmartin is a com2 guy. you can grab the 28011 sys from calk's sys folder. the link is on the first page of thread.

one thing i noticed in sense 2.1 is that copying over the pim.vol, facebookinfo.vol, and the images from \Windows\FBContacts makes the integrated facebook stuff go all whacky. Had to start from scratch w/ pim backup and everything is okay.

Gonna try copying over the three, now updated, files via UC and see what happens lata.

Also, what's in the OnlineAlbumDB.vol at the root of our device?? Never saw that in Manila 2.1....

Thanks for this TMartin! Very nice indeed.

I loaded this up with 28011 today and it runs great, but my vzw tp just simply can't seem to handle much at all. I've been using the same basic apps in Calks Kitchen for some time, but I guess I need some help in trimming my rom down even more. For instance, I have very few "extra" apps cooked in and I only have 9-12MB FREE when running Sense2.1. My roms are usually only 120-128MB when I'm flashing.

I'm running a 6MB PP and don't know what else I can take out when cooking to get much more free ram? CleanRam never really does much if anything for me.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

So i downloaded the 28011 sys file from cal, but then realized... what about xip? What am I supposed to use there? is there a 28011 xip I can get somewhere? Also... is 28011 6.5? or 6.5.x? Is this kitchen done?
