Ok I'm gonna help but yet not help. So please don't respond like that to me because it takes a effort to give you the EXACT response.... saying if you don't know don't do it..... isn't being an a$$ or anything its just makes it simpler.

It's not a good idea to swap sys folders like that. Calcu put's these ROMs together peice by peice. The newest is already a hybrid of the old and new build. His OEM pack has SYS pack dependencies within it aswell. If you start swapping out like that while not knowing really what you are doing could be deadly to your device. Now if you don't care.... go for it.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to respond. I was about to swap out the complete 1.3 sys folder for the 1.4. I wasn't sure if it was the same. The rom i've having building is completely clean. It's pretty much bare so, i'm pretty depending on CAL for his work ( HIS WORK IS ALWAYS DOPE BY THE WAY). I'm using his 1.3 kitchen and im pretty much satisfy with it.

Do you know why on some ROM sashimi works and sometime it doesn't it? Anyway.. thanks for your response much appreciate it.

O yeah.. one question, in program menu there a folder called system tools. it has faster 2d and faster 3d is that a mistake. Am i suppose to install it? When i made the rom i select ominia driver and that what happen?

Not sure how shami launches but UC could be the issue. If it's included it set to run on first boot so if you have shami installed it might cancel it out.

Those are there so you can swap between OEM D3D Drivers and Omnia Drivers. I believe Calkulin did it so if you have problems with Omnia then you can easily switch to OEM D3D.

Bored.. i just switch the sys folder and i got an error.. so, im just going to stick with 1.3 kitchen.

You're welcome! And, which SYS folder are you trying to swap out? From what I read, unless I misread something, you are trying to swap the SYS folder from the 1.3 Kitchen and replace it with the SYS folder from the 1.4 Kitchen? Or even vice versea? Am I correct???

Yes, that was the plan, but it gave me errors when i tried to build the rom. What the difference between 1.3 to 1.4, do you know?

Yes I do, but only how it has already been described before...But for more clarification, 1.4 is just a blank kitchen so to speak. You can dumo a ROM with it and re-build from there or if you already have all the files but are using an older kitchen then you can transfer and use a new kitchen. 1.3 can also be used for dumping but already has all the necessary files for cooking a ROM. Hope this makes sense? Also, in 1.4 there is a SYS folder but it is under MyTools...that is there for when you dump a ROM...is that the SYS folder you were trying to use?

I think it make sense, I thought 1.4 kitchen had all the updated files in the sys folder that why i wanted to switch. I guess i am going to use the 1.3. Thanks for clearing that up. Back to cooking....... thanks alot man appreciate it!
