Move the xip.bin to the rom/touchpro folder. Create a new folder in the rom/shared directory named 23060 and move the remaing file there. Now, rename 23053 in the rom/touchpro directory to 23060 or make a copy and rename it. Now, you will get an error and only create a small file if you run it now. You have to go into the sys folder that you just copied in and delete the metadata folder as calk has it already in the oem. Now run your kitchen and it will produce a wonderful rom.

This took me only 14 hours to figure out!

Please ask questions if i wasn't specific enough

This pertains to anyone getting the 2 packages.cif error and no xip
Congratulations and well done! You my friend are on your way to the Chef's Palace

I'm using the 3.0 album for the manila 2.1. It works in Calku's prebuilt ROM but I can't get it to work on mine. Everything else seems to scroll fine with my finger, just not the album! Any suggestions? TIA!
Anyone????

I already tried cooking the 2.5 in - but it doesn't work well with the 2.1 manila - you can't add pics to contacts w/ the old one. Are you using 6.1 or 6.5 for yours? I'm using the 6.1... In the premade ROM it does have album 3 - this is going to drive me crazy!

Literally, "Metadata".

I only figured it out by running a search for packages.cif after getting the "2 packages.cif" error, then did a compare/contrast between the tree I was working under (23420) and a previous one (23414). I noticed there was no "Metadata" folder under the 23414 tree and figured the ol' "One of these things is not like the other ones" rules applied.

Now, of course, I'm waiting for my battery to top 50% so I can actually flash 23420...
