native dropdown notification manager is slick but since it maps only to the native apps it sucks if you like to use manila.

Stick w/23053 for now; most reviews of 23414 are not favorable, and 23412 is a more stable build than 23414.

23414 is known as the "COM 4" branch: this is where most of the newest GUI/Base OS features are developed and tested. When they are deemed "stable" by the development community, they find their way down to "COM 3" branch, which is where 23053 comes from, and thus it is usually more stable than COM 4, but lacks the newest improvements/enhancements.

COM 4 only becomes more stable then COM 3 when a significant code change is made to core OS elements, and since COM 4 gets these first, it will be more stable than COM 3 until those changes trickle down to the COM 3 branch.

When MS does an RTM for "Windows Phone" as it will be called when WM7.x hits the street, it will come from the COM 3 branch, and development will continue in COM 4, etc, until a new branch is started.

Hopes this helps.

Re: [ 9-23 ][ v3 ][ 6.5.1 / 6.5 / 6.1 ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Results - Flashed to 053 v2. Setup exchange account by registry import. Initially tried to set up by running activesync, but the normal click to setup exchange server dialog did not work. Only after setting up an activesync partnership with my pc then importing the registry was I able to start the sync to exchange. I then deleted the partnership to the pc in activesync.
Only one outlook folder showing in TF3D email tab. Seems to be AOK on my end.
BTW Calk - Great job on the 053 ROM. I am assuming that the removal of Nikoan's sip was to fix the hardware keyboard?

There seems to be a slight issue with 23414, so I'm finishing fixing it now and will upload a updated version

phone scrolling is definitely messed up in the new 053. ive never seen this. when scrolling through contacts, the names just all appear together, there is no color/shaded separation, and there is no tab on the right to open up contact like normal. (you can still open a contact by clicking where the tab used to be)

NVM.... now it's working. Must have been a mediafire server issue.
im trying to download the kitchen and i keep getting this error:

The key you provided for file download was invalid. This is usually caused because the file is no longer stored on Mediafire. This occurs when the file is removed by the originating user or Mediafire.

anyone got a mirror??
