Re: [ Coming soon ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

Sweet Calkulin, I ported your 23017 kitchen over and everything works fine. GPS works. I basically made everything into ext packages and it boots and works. =)

Re: [ Coming soon ] Calkulin's Visual HTC Kitchen & ROMs

One minor issue, it's a little bit lagging side, but the wallpaper that scrolls is too bright and hard to see the stuff in the background. I really like the wallpaper with the city but if there is a way to dull it down so you can see what is behind it.

PS. It just crashed and im hard resetting, all the icons when clicking start were mubled together and couldnt be read then after resetting it didnt change. didnt load any programs other then my exchange server data.

I have had this happen on other roms, basically you just have to switch themes to get it to fix itself. It can be a paid since you can't read any of the icons. you will be able to see them a little bit so with that have memory hopefully you can get to the today settings menu. In the other ROM i found this in it was caused by installing nueBattery, not sure what would be causing it here.

Thanks,
Ben

Go there and look at post 2, you don't need to install anything but the backgrounds, you can also create your own but i just used one i found there to make the text more readable.

I did originally too, but it so much better. You just have to learn it.

Once you learned it, you never look back. Visual kitchen offers so much more. Imagine you don't have to reselect your OEMs between flashes and oh yeah, those duplicate files.

MusicID has been deemed warez and shouldn't be included in roms, as it was recently cleaned out of all roms/kitchens...
Pandora I've figured out the QVGA version works on his latest sys23017, well you can hear it just not see it too well. Here's the .cab that I'm using: pandora_1.1.10[1].cab It's a simple 1 file cab so you can turn it into an oem easy enough.

Caulk, what are the red and green phone icons at the bottom of your Today screen? Are those built-in to the OS or are they a 3rd party application? Thanks.
