So are the 21109 ROMs coming back? What mess needs to be cleared up?

aceracer is correct. this particular issue has nothing to do with the ROM you are using. It is in fact an issue with the carrier, as this has happened on several different phones I have owned, not all being a PDA.

Calcu, do you see anything in the reg code below that would cause the rom to get stuck at the first customization on a fresh flash? This is for the email program Seven and it's the .rgu. With it, the phone still works but won't get past teh customization screen without a soft reset and then you can see it never ran through the customization at all.

Is Seven a part of your customization?

If so, aslong as you don't have a registry addition error (which that don't look like it has) it won't hang up the customizations because none of those keys are active until you reboot or even some not until you run a command. A bad key that was accepted could however hand up the next boot cycle. What I've experienced with all the flashes I've done lately is that if your customization process has a bad file or command it will hang. My example would be when automating my gps fix process, I failed to get a file to copy to windows. There was a final command to launch that file in the last customization process before lock and reset. Needless to say things didn't go well.

See, I don't know if there is or not. I was having a hell of a time getting buildOS to finish on the create registry part. It kept getting errors. For some odd reason, it was some sort of format error because I was copying word for word from one file to another but...it was from the .rgu that I changed the extension to .reg. PITA!

Long story short, that code, and only that code was in the .rgu. It built fine but hung on customization. Seven is a program that launches on startup. I had the startup link removed from the initflashfiles.txt and was having UC copy the link at the end. But the phone is jamming right after I click ok on the date/time page. The customization window comes up and then thats it, she stops right there. I have been trying to get Seven in my rom as an OEM for a couple weeks now.

Is that the true reg file entry... meaning everything in the .reg
