none of those problems existed on 812. are you suggesting that 815 is not compatible with my radio? i dont beleive in changing off of stock. i think most people's gain in just imagined. my experience with changing off stock radio has always been one of instability.

I'm running 815 and have noticed my radio cycling on and off - basically acting wierd, but it is also a replacement phone so I'm not sure where the problems lies - I had been thinking it was a problem with my refurb phone more than anything ... but maybe not?

I tried this rom and my contacts or call history wouldnt show in the phone canvas. Is there a resolution to this? I used the already buiilt 6.5 rom.

Here is my link to the 21812 kitchen. I loaded the kitchen in first link and the SYS files in the second.

Re: [ Jun 23 ] [ v2.0 ] [ 21051 & 21815 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

So i did a new build for 815 and battery seems much better again (like 812 was). I am betting there was something i had selected before that either corrupted the build (hence hard resets didnt resolve) or it was just something that was a drain on the build. In any case, 815 is screaming along really well once again (with new selections). I havent had a chance to really put calls to the test, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

Re: [ Jun 23 ] [ v2.0 ] [ 21051 & 21815 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

Experimentation: So I just can't bear to look at WM6.1 anymore.... so it's 6.5 all the way! Anyway, I've always liked Calkulins 21502 Sys kitchen, so I've merged the OEM folder from the 21815 kitchen into it. Also did No2Chems optimizations. Spinlock, neurec, and gxdma.dll update. I'm curious to see what happens with the newer OEMDRIVERS if they are indeed newer than the 21502 Drivers. Flashed, hardreset, ran through autoconfig routine, and now.......it's up and running! I selected almost every htc option, album 2.5, tf3d-2 tachi w/blueblack dialer, alltabsbg, no top&bottom curtain. The clock is bj0rked , just grey, ack.... other than that, it's pretty darn smooth! camera isn't as fluid as the 21815-21820 sys versions I tried in other kitchens. lowered brightness kinda helped, may need some fine tuning with cache and vid drv's. PP set to 32MB.
That's my report on it, just thought i'd share my experiment with y'all! Calku's kitchens are still the greatest of all I've tried.

Any chance you can give us a step by step? I know there are how-to's around, but one specific to Calk 21815 kitchen would be awsome. Since, I plan on building w/ the 21815 kitchen this weekend, this would be an awsome addition.

... and I agree, Calk's kitchen's are the best I have tried.

Yeah, a tut (or a link) for that would be huge!

Re: [ Jun 23 ] [ v2.0 ] [ 21051 & 21815 ] Calkulin's Kitchen & ROMs

actually, the nuespinlockpatcher.exe is in his Tools folder in the kitchen, (run the app and point it to the \OEM\OEMDrivers\ folder. as is the NueRecMod (I renamed Recmod.exe to recmod.old and copied nuerecmod.exe to desktop, renamed to 'recmod.exe' then copied it back into the tools folder, and finally the gxdma.dll module.... I d/l that from nuerom.com, deleted existing modulke, replaced with no2chems gxdma.dll. That module resides in the OEMDrivers subfolder in the OEM subfolder. Example: E:\Downloads-7077\Touch Pro Development\Calkulins 1.7 Kitchen\Calkulin's Touch Pro 21502 Kitchen v1.7 RC\OEM\OEMDrivers\gxdma.dll\ <--since it's a module, it will appear as a folder with a few files within it.
That is pretty much it. I'm not sure if calk has it setup already, i could be duplicating efforts! but on the newer sys kitchen, same process basically. Major props to Calkulin for his super kitchens and No2Chem for his amazing work in the many projects he's working on.
I hope this info helps you out. Good luck!

This is kind of a rough tutorial..... under the gun to go to job interview!! lol
