I thanked you but I found this as well

'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / Security / Phone / Skin'
-change the value of 'Enabled' from 1 to 0.

i know that one of the options when your cooking your rom is to disable the htc phone skin...i did this and i have the 6.5 dialer. i think its already built into the build...if you have the htc dialer running, i get the old 6.1 notification, as well as s2a popping up...

i can deal with that i have the same bugs..but one bug that it totally annoying the crap outta me is when im on the phone and i browse the phone the screen keeps turning off after like 5-10 seconds and i whatever setting i change doesnt fix it...i unchecked all power settings so backlight and phone stay on..and didnt install battery saver cabs..didnt install nueclock...in call tweaker disabled i even set the screen to stay on in it but nothing......any ideas???

Just DL'ed and installed the latest TP2 ROM version "21043 TP2 ROM v1.7 RC" and was very happy when I discovered a few of the bugs from the last TP2 ROM had been fixed. Additionally all of the core components are working so far. I really like the HD youtube.
Only time will tell, but so far so good. The last version of this ROM had some calendar issues with the TP2. I use calendar ALOT !, some people dont, so this was a deal killer for me. But nice WORK ! I can build ROM's with the various tools out there, but no time and no patience ! Excellent !

I can't see anything on my Storage card !!!! not sure if it got fried or what ! ! ! ! !

This has never happened and am not sure how to confirm if it is really fried or just not showing up on this ROM...

there is a program called in call tweak that u can select in the kitchen and cook it in, it ends up in your systen tools folder. uncheck ignore light sensor and your good to go. what it does is when you take the phone away from your ear it turns the screen on and off when u put it back to your ear.

do you have a card reader? if so take ur SC and put it into that and plug that directly into your cpu if it sees it its the phone/rom

cooked a number of ROMs lastnight and today.
Apparently 6.5 doesn't like you trying to get the old IE back in. Messaging and sliding panels stop working.

BUT... All of my ROMs have had the same problem:

All you have to do is switch to the windows mobile blue style theme or the window mobile black and the htc dialer will work correctly..

It is the 6.5 desinger themes that are conflicting. Just doen't use them for now.
