Ok an update on the random freezing/resetting of my phone...

Even if I reset multiple times, go into the debug mode where you can see the phone is unlocked and reset again, it still hangs at the Touch Pro screen....forcing me to do a hard reset.

This last hard reset I did before this last one, I only used PIM Backup to restore contacts....and nothing else. I changed all my settings manually this time to test this. So unless the PIM Backup version on the phone is faulty, or my phone is faulty (supposedly its brand new, not refurbished), something may be glitchy in the rom.

I dont mind doing hardware resets, it makes it like having a nice clear new phone, and although I have come to terms with not having my saved text/pic messages anymore, its kind of a bummer to have to do this every couple of days.

Hopefully, the next ROM version wont have this problem....this is the only version I've had this issue with....everything else in the ROM is fantastic as usual.......as long as we dont forget updated programs like newer google maps and that htc customizer - cause those are awesome

And I'm using 6.1 btw....

i would remove the spb from the start up cut/past it to your storage card and reset it should fly at that point
or in your today settings chek the box for it to start windows default instead of touchflo

i would give his latest update a try if you install like tec has instructed here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=66876 it will work this rom by far is the best on this site i havent done a reset in 2 days once i got it installed it works awesome

first of all, i love this rom. i just finished with techs quad mode setup and its like i have 4 phones in one! i kind of have a bug though: sometimes i have to send my texts numerous times because "unable to send blah, blah, blah" pops up in red letters. i applied the sms fix on the first page but this problem is still here. i have your 5/17 6.5 rom, any fix?

yup there is a fix, flash another radio, if your not already using it, i suggest you flash the Telus Radio

Having a great time with this rom! one problem, when I press on an sms or an email it takes an eternity to load it, I've been running this rom for 3 days now without a hitch, haven't changed anything. Noticed a memory leak as well, but this is happening as soon as it soft resets anyway.

Something you might want to look into Merdin. Thanks again for the great Rom!!

i seem to be losing my data connection after an hour or so after a soft reset...i tried the fix on the first page but ##3282# doesnt bring up the screen it should. Do i need to install the Sprint carrier cab first? thanks a million.

Weird issue here Merdinh...........I changed my today theme to Metal on Titanium....it obviously corrupted something major....I got the shaded lines in text messaging I noticed first....then and this is the biggie....the old menus came back.....any ideas before I hard reset???.....other than that all is well....

i have 1.11 is its usually fine. the uscelullar radio didnt work for me. i live in des moines iowa. that might have something to do with it. but you havent steered me wrong yet so telus, here we come!!! thanks again on your absolutely perfect rom... i was thinking about buying some wireless stereo bluetooth headphones. what would you recommend for our touchpro?

I'm sorry, could you be a little more specific? What do you mean remove spb from my startup? I dont have spb in my startup....

Did you mean to quote this message? Not sure what you mean.....and do you think this will fix the device and prevent it from freezing and needing to do a hardware reset?
