Well went around and tried some other packages, but have ended up back with Merdins. Just way better than any of the others.

I have tried both the 6.1 and 6.5 (non-lite) versions and really like both. I haven't used mobile shell before, but prefer it over the TF3d personally. For now anyway. TF3d always seemed "gimmicky" to me.

Only request I have is to have the taskbar at the top the same in the 6.5 version as in 6.1. I kinda like the fancier icons rather than the solid black and white ones.

Any idea of where we can find MS themes that work with the new 4.3 w/ MS rom?

P.S. What a great rom. I was thinking of going to the 6.5, but I might just stay with this one for a while. It is awesome. I like the text message sound ( I know where you got that idea)

Ok, awesome rom but 2 questions. (6.5 Rom)

1. It will only let me use the standard Full QWERTY on screen keyboard. I actually prefer the phone keypad in situations where i dont want to slide the keyboard open due to years of texting on regular phone.

2. My ringer icon on the main screen disappeared?? I can still click on it to open the full screen notification thing. Just a small nusiance

Any ideas for either?

you can uninstall mobile shell in the remove programs setting, just make sure to remove the remnants from the startup folder in windows. The 6.5 rom is fantastic. I prefer the 6.5 default interface to both spb and tf3d so far.

After using this ROM, i have to say the 6.5 version is very nice. It is pretty quick, battery is good. My complaint is only that for some reason the keyboard got stuck to numbers only (OSK) so I hard-reset and it wont allow me to select any other keyboard. But thats only a slight issue, i have a slide out one after all. Overall I really enjoy this rom and it was my first time using SPB. I think i prefer the 6.5 interface though.

Major ones im looking at is
*Manila 2 Not installing
*Keyboard problems
and some other minor ones.

Also hear is the Taskbar for the Windows mobile 6.5 version you guys were looking for, just install for all the icons on the top to be like on the 6.1 rom.

Just to let you know that the keyboard problem appears on many ROMs (MightyMike and Juicy to name a couple). I had more problems with the new Touch onscreen kb getting stuck on numbers but M5 did it once on me also. And both have a delay of 5 or 8 seconds every once in a while while typing on the screen.

How can i change the dialer? I installed the black dialer cab and it didn't work. someone else asked this earlier but i didn't fully understand the answer given. thanks
