try reflashing. something might have gone wrong with the flash itself

Volume keypads have also been confirmed by others for not functioning properly, i personaly have not had the issue, but others were still able to adjust their volume, ill look into this also its on my to do list.

hate to do this, but is anybody running secondtoday successfully? if so how did you set it up, as i still cant get the home softkeys to change

Did you do a reset after you installed, because in order for the softkey to change if the program does it for you it would require a restart, if the program doesnt change it for you then you will have to manualy edit it using RegEdit which is either in the MyApps folder or the Tools folder in the programs.
