Re: (March 29, 2009) MERDIN'S WMPro 4.1*Manila 2* CE OS 5.2.21042(Build 21042 MerdinH

ok guys. after trial and error with the software i've been loading, i have this machine close to how i want it. i'm going to commit hary cary if Merdin comes out with a newer version today.

what i have working is...

push email (seven)
custom weather (several cities)
tomtom
footprints (a great little program)
picture mail (arcsoft - this is MUCH better than sprint - Thanks Merdin!!!)
wmwifirouter
iGO8

and of course all the other stuff Merdin has given us and misc smaller stuff that work with the accelerometer.

that being said.....

i know i'm going to get flamed for not seaching and reading, but how the hell do i make Opera my default browser? other than the Manila related issues (that we all should know about by now and should stop asking questions about by now) that's the only thing i'd like to change.

thanks Merdin. as someone has already said, "you are the MAN!!"

oh yeah, i'm using 4.1 red.

What's the easiest way to change themes in TF3D 2? I see that in the win dir there are tons of manila files. Are these the files needed to change to change the theme? And is there a way to change the icons on the task bar? BTW, I'm luvin this ROM! Using the red 4.1.

So far everything works really good for me. The only problem I have is there doesn't seem to be a way to change the location of the tabs. In the last release there was something under settings to change the location of them, but it's not there now.

(i've been gone for about 5 days and reading 10,000 posts to see if it changed..no thanks )

EDIT: Re-flashed, it's there now.

sure it is. it's under the same place as it was. look on the settings tab for a line item that says "customizing tabs"

i guess i drank too much beer at the hockey game last night but for some reason, i thought "compact QWERTY" could be set as a default and everytime i change mine and reboot, "QWERTY" comes back up. every time. is this right?
