Did you rename the rom file to "RAPHIMG.nbh" before trying to flash?
SD is the only way I flash. And I use a SDHC.

FYI:

DO NOT rename it RAPHIMG.nbh, Just name it RAPHIMG, the .nbh goes in there automatically. I had that SAME problem forever!! Because what happens is when you rename it RAPHIMG.nbh it really ends up being RAPHIMG.nbh.nbh so it wont recognize it. SO try just naming it RAPHIMG and see if that works, it did for me! The .nbh went in automatically cuz its a 'nbh file.

Here's hoping, I liked what saw til all hell broke loose in my phone.

WHat happened to your phone? Cuz all hell broke loose on my phone too. All of a sudden I went to touch the screen and nothing happen, then I reset and hard reset and it wouldnt load at all.

Which ROM are you having issues with please don't tell me it's the 2.4 because I wanted to try that ROM out today. I guess I'll wait it out till Merdin works this issues out.

You had/have that issue because in Windows you have it set to hide known file extensions, turn it off and you will always see the entire file name. If you can flash your phone then you prolly know that already, maybe not.

After restoring info and going thru what's included and not, the phone would randomly freeze. Even after soft and hard resets, and initial boot and app setup took longer than usual with the other roms.

So for so good with this one!

all hell broke loose on my phone

same here. and yes, its unlocked, ive flashed many times. Phone has totally crashed. Not bricked, crashed. Tried to flash to a new rom using sd card, first time it got to 100% would would not say "completed successfully" but nothing is working. Tried renaming it RAPHIMG, RAPHIMG.nbh, but it cant recognize the image; i cant even do a hard reset.

and yes, it was 2.4, but he did some work on it after i informed him of what happened, think he might of fixed something major, i dont know though.
