Hey Con,
Ok I have been playing with your newest version. Found a couple of things.

1. There is still a slight memory leak from Opera.
2. I have been having an issue with the landscape in Opera. I open a page and then switch to landscape and it goes to the home screen. I can duplicate it on demand. I'm trying to verify if it is the Opera build or something I have loaded after flashing.

Other than those your rom seems very very fast and stable. I increased the page pool to 40 before flashing and I think it has helped with the overall speed. If I find anything else I will let you know.

Jay

Update: It appears to be something I had installed on the Opera issue. I did a hard reset and started over. I haven't located what was causing the issue because I didn't load all of the same things. If I figure out what it was I will post for information.

I am working on this the best i can right now. I had something come up at work, and i am stuck there all week. it will be a big check. so i will be tied up there a lot of this week. I am working on it though. I have a few more features in there.

I have a few different thing that I am testing now. converting a few other dll, and programs to modules to help with speed and performance. so it will take a little bit of time. but I think it will be decent.

I just ask for a little patience while I am working this week.

Opera Mini CAB for Windows mobile 6.1. It works in my Sprint Touch. Currently working on my new phone(Touch Pro Sprint) + Custom Rom. Might not work if you have jbed installed already.

This CAB will install the following software

1. Esmertec Jbed 20081016.2.1(latest)
2. Opera mini 4.2.13337
3. Signed Opera mini(no annoying network confirmation)
4. shortcut for opera mini.

I just want to say this is FAST!!!!!

i have yet to understand why would you use opera mini instead of the opera mobile browser thats already included?

this is just my personal opinion..but i dont particlarly like Opera Mobile. its better than IE, but compared to the new mini, its much slower and buggy. i'll use either one, but probably a good reason Opera Mini is the most popular browser.

If you don't understand why anyone would use Opera mini over Opera mobile, then you haven't used Opera mini much. It renders basic web pages lightening fast compared to Opera Mobile. It is limited at rendering web pages with crazy flash & complex html, but handles the average web page with ease.

opera build 15233 from the omnia, i finally have it working with the VGA skin. i have sent the file to Juggalo_x, and Juicy will have it before the day is over. IMO it is the best opera there is.

it was built for the Omnia, and omnia comes stock with flash, so this opera is made to suppourt flash, it is also able to turn it off, turn off java script, flahs, and pick between desktop or mobile version of websites. I am testing with this now, it seems to be running very well, so I will more then likley include it.

So everyone stay tuned and I will have it coming soon. and everyone will love it. Scrolling on that thing is unreal, Javascript preloads it up, and so when you scroll it is so rapid and everything. it is just great. But everyone will get to see it soon enough.

Con thanks for the great info. As long as its as fast as Mini, i'll stick with it. If not, i can easily load mini later..but again thanks for the update. Looking forward to it.
