give this a shot, new opera 15233 converted to VGA.

does not support Gsensor
Scrool wheel does not zoom in

but i feel like it is still a very strong build.

OK Con, just noticed a new bug while running your rom. I've been having connection issues. My phone won't always connect to the internet. Like, right now I have a connection, but I'll notice the internet connection terminate on its own, & then when I try to initiate another data session, it gives me an "unable to connect" error. I have to soft reset to resolve the issue. I didn't notice it until I installed touchprolock & the new esmertec/opera mini cab you recommended. I uninstalled the java cab thinking it may be the culprit, but I'm still experiencing the issue. Do you think it's touchlockpro?

okay thanks i will look into it, I am starting to play around a little bit, I work 2 more days, but i am getting around now, and should have something early or middle of next week.
It will have new opera,
omnia drivers will be there, but not enabled. if you want them, then place them in there with reg edit.
bug fixes
and then a few other things that i am testing right now. so we will just have to see.

Here’s a cool way to show off all of the slick weather animations in HTC’s TouchFlo 3D,

How to do it (instructions for the visual learners at right):

1. Switch to the Weather tab.

2. Tap to the left of where it says “Weather” at the top.

3. Now tap to the right of where it says “Weather.”

It should now run through all of the weather animations in succession. Enjoy!

Hey guys,
Sorry I've been away for holidays and haddn't checked back. From reading all the posts since, did we decide the Wifi thing was a radio version issue?

I too am on the stock alltel radio 1.03.16f. As soon as I get my laptop back up and running I'll try flashing the most recent version and see where that gets me. Thanks for all the help

Greetings! I have just upgraded from the Touch to the Touch Pro, so far it's a great phone. Most of the to ROM's I used with the Touch were to get the functionality of the Touch Pro TF3D, GPS, etc.. So far, I am content with the speed and can download needed applications, my main concern is a working GPS. Can anyone confirm a working GPS with this ROM? Is it consistent and lock within a reasonable time? After researching and reading the various ROM's avail for the TP, this is the one I am most interested because it is specific toward Alltel. Thank you for your input and Conflipper, thank you for all the work you have done and continue to do.

I can confirm that the GPS is very good with this rom. I had good gps before this rom but it is as good or better with Con's rom.

I don't think we determined it was a radio issue, I am using the Telus rom and haven't experienced the wifi problem. I was experiencing intermittent connection problems, but I think I narrowed that down to either some problem with the Esmertec/Opera Mini cab that you referred me to in your previous post, or Diamond Tweak. I hard reset and re-installed Diamond Tweak yesterday and started having the problem again, so I don't know if it was a "tweak" I made with Diamond Tweak that caused the connection troubles, or the fact that I simply just installed the program on my phone that gave me trouble. Either way, I did yet ANOTHER hard reset last night, and haven't installed it this time, and am not having anymore connection problems. It would time out my connection, and then would give me an error when it tried to reconnect. A soft reset always rectified the problem, but who wants to have to do that all the time?

Do you happen to have a link to the stock Alltel radio? I'm thinking about flashing back to it, not sure the Telus one is any better, and it may be a good idea just to keep the Alltel radio on it just to rule out any bugs on current and future rom builds. Back in my titan days, if you flashed the wrong radio, it would wreak havoc on text messaging (could only receive 1 page/160 characters)
