I am a little lost in all of this, but I have an Alltel TP. How can I find out what PRI I have and how since someone stated that you cannot upgrade to the latest PRI since they are still on an Alltel Plan, what is the newest PRI I can upgrade to?

Thanks for the info. I have read that others have been successful in their endeavor manually writing a PRL file to their Moto Droid. I am close. I can get to the point in QPST where it starts to write the new PRL but then QPST times out and won't let me go any further.

Anyways, I'll keep trying and if I find something that works I'll let you know.

I'm trying to determine if this is for me.
I am an Alltel customer with an Alltel phone
The Alltel that I am part of has not been taken over by VZW(yet)
I am living in an area that has probably been taken over by VZW.

When I dial *228 it goes to verizon and does not update.

I don't get great reception, I'd like to update my PRL, I just want to make sure this one is the right one to update.

Thanks,
Jon

1 Attachment(s)
Latest (51831) PRL with Sprint PRI fixes. Sorry for the delay guys. :)

EDIT: Just tested on my Mogul, working fine. (Yes, back to using the Mogul for a while. It's fun.)

Thank you sooo much for that last update. I haven't touched my Sprint TP in over a year cuz it has been flawless. And an hour ago I got that roaming triangle for the first time ever. This certainly took care of the Preferred System!
