Not sure how many of you still need these, but I've modified the latest nationwide EVDO PRL for use with my sprint branded HTC Titan on Verizon. I've tested and it works fine for me. It may or may not work for you, however it follows the same modification scheme as needed for the Touch Pro.

ok so ive downloaded the prl like described and when i go into ##prl send and choose the prl to update. after i locate the prl i want to update to, i click menu then select ok. the waiting cursor shows up then the phone shuts off, not like a resetting shut off, it just shuts off and i have to hit the power button to turn it back on. after i reboot it, i go into ##778 send and view the section that says prl and its showing 51540 and my pri is 1.46_002. what am i doing wrong? i have a sprint tp on vzs network, but i did it the mobile files way lol shh dont tell haha. so what should i do? i still have the roaming triangle and its quite annoying lol

This one seems to already be modified as the Roam Indicator IDs are in the proper ranges. Do you have a non-modified one from a Verizon device?

I have this PRL for PrePaid that needs editing:

I have successfully loaded a Verizon PRL from the corolado site to my VZW Touch Pro 2 in order to have my phone recognized by the Network Extender we just bought (lousy reception at home), since we're on an Alltel Plan and *228 only gives us an Alltel PRL (30045) that the Extender doesn't recognize. ##775 got me in just fine.

I tried doing the same thing with my wife's LG enV Touch, and ##775 neither ##775# got me anywhere - just a recorded announcement that the number had been changed or disconnected, etc.

I know that hers is a Brew-based, not Windows Mobile phone, but I was wondering if anybody here knows how I can get this PRL file I have on her microSD card installed?

Thanks!

I think for regular phones you may need to use QPST or other shady software...

You may be right - although I didn't realize QPST was 'shady'?
