First THANKS again for your GREAT work & generosity. v1.2 looks REAL good.
Nice/Smooth & Snappy. Although I have a couple of questions.

1 - When creating a new SMS and/or e-mail message, using the soft (touch) keyboard. There is a grey box with a + sign that mimics each letter typed. However after typing the @ sign and moving the cursor to the right of the @ sign (e.g. entering an e-mail address) and typing again, it places the previous word in the space (forcing me to backspace to remove the word auto-entered) Is there a setting to disable this grey box and turn this feature off.?

2 - When restoring Data using (PIMBackup), the thread of each text messageis not restored in the corect order (e.g. showing what I typed, then what was replied, them my responce etc etc). If there a setting and/or fix to correct this?

Dream I found the answer to question #1

- "Disable T9... On the slideout keyboard press FN then space bar and select abc."

- "Software keyboard press the ABC/T9 button"

Perhaps you may have a solution for Question # 2

You shouldn't backup messages with PIMBackup. Many people have reported that the SMS messages were resent and the recipients would receive the texts multiple times. Since then I never backup my message.

I saw someone post the other day to try this (and I did too on my wifes phone and it seemed to work) is: after you flash and are ready to restore the messages, go to start/settings/system/text messaging/ and change it from threaded to classic, then soft reset. Then restore the pim backup you made prior to flashing and change the setting back to threaded and soft reset. Try that next time. Hope that it helps.

Opera was installed via uc as a cab and is not a flash enabled version, so if you want a version that has flash enabled you will need to find it and intsall it yourself.

hey ream, does your dialer have "hold" on the screen when its in a call, and is able to swap up and down between calls? was wondering because on mighty 4.6, his slide2answer had that. just thought it was cool!

the only reason it didn’t before is because it was the gsm dialer that was ported and everyone knew there was limited functionality. This one has the slide 2 answer (CDMA version) from the sprint leaked diamond rom, so everything should function as it is supposed to.
