Hey Dream ,

I noticed that you have white calculator skin. Here is SPB VGA BLACK skin for both portrait and landscape and " again " is another good addition to your ROM. I'm not sure if you can cook it in your next release or not. If anyone wants to use the skin, just copy both files to the windows directory and over write existing files. I have been holding on to this file since the day i got the TP.

I have screen shots using Resco Capture.

BTW: Do you remember when i was telling you about the AM/PM Hack? There it is also in the screen shot. looks uniformed?

Dream, here ya go, 1 calc with the black theme. I put this in EVERY ROM I flash, it truly is MUCH BETTER then the boring windows calculator, and this one isnt the ugly orange and blue like the stadard 1 calc, its skinned. Also for anyone that wants it now here ya go!!

I haven't checked your .7 yet but .5 still had the old IE. I know I've flashed a few roms on this forum that included the new version (flash was working with it too) and there are a couple of kitchens that have it.

Does anyone else that used the new pocket ie6 on their devices have any comments? Do you remember where you got it from or what roms it was on? I just can't seem to find it again.

Did anyone that used it have any problems with it? I remember I liked it a lot and didn't have problems.

What I think of V.07. (Sprint). I Just flashed.

1. Good call on swithching to 1-cal + diamond skin
2. Loving Opera 15233 (Flash is working perfect and It's stupid FAST)
3. I haven't found any bugs.
4. Weather Tab working for me
5. No keyboard Lag
6. Everything is Scrolling smoothly
7. GPS locks in less than 7 seconds.

Total of 50 levels, but i someone said that the vibration is not working right now....a fix wil be out shortly.

I'm gonna keep playing with V.07 since i'm sick and just laying down and watching football. I will report any bugs IF i find any. Right now, this rom is running GREAT. I hope I see V.08 tomorrow (lol).

The issue of HTC Player of not continue playing songs after hitting the power button is solved by changing this:

HKLM\Software\HTC\AudioManager\Config and changed the "enter_suspend" DWORD from 1 to 0

and for WMP:

GREAT NEWS!!! I successfully ported sys and xip for 21109. I was going to orignally borrows calcu's from his kitchen, but decided to put in the leg work and got'r done. I had been searching all day and found the files from a polaris build on xda, and spent most of the afternoon and night doing this. Check out the screen shot.

And voila, you have the old Manilla that has the cool original animations when switching tabs, as well as the clock flipping from 0:00.

Here they are in the order I installed them.

I also went to HKLM/Software/Wei Enterprizes/Batt/ and changed "FastCharge" from 0 to 1. Not sure yet if that will re-enable fastcharge. Still testing.

dont know if this is a common problem for everyone, but the repeat rate on the Hardware keyboard is crazy fast, i keep gettin double letters, for pressing a letter a ms too long, kinda of annoying...

if many people are having this problem maybe dream can make the minor adjustment in the next rom?

Use this cab to get the white dialer back if you don't like the black one. To get SSMaPa working, Dream needs to unmodulate manila.exe, which I'm guessing he did

I disagree a bit with the less-is-more... I seem to hard reset or reflash my phone so often that having some programs already in it is a nice touch. The programs that come with a ROM is one of my deciding factors. What you have done so far is nice, a few extra programs which help, a few cooked-in things... a lot less of the stuff I wouldn't otherwise use.

I think we're basically at the point of diminishing returns when it comes to removing things for speed. I'm sure Juggalo is headed in the same minimalist direction, and there's only so many speed tweaks to be had. What's going to be left in the end? ROM choices will be made on the single app they include.

I'm not saying load it up with programs, but don't strip it bare either, please.

A suggestion for an addition to be cooked in would be SEVEN... Push e-mail for almost any account. Surprisingly, battery life impact is minimal. Add Seven, reflash to Telus radio (from sprint) and you'll still come out ahead on battery life. I've got a .cab around for it somewhere if you like.

I thought Dream already added those changes to his rom....

I posted the changes back a few revisions but don't recall how far back. The changes were only for making IE work correctly. To make Opera work you will have to search this site as those changes are very easy to make direclty in Opera I believe. For IE, it required reg fixes.

I think this is it Dream. Test it though. Calcu said in a previous post to me that this is no3chem's fastcharge driver.

Placebo...those have been running around for awhile now. Nothing new and they really do not add any performance increase in anything that I have been able to see and that includes the camera.
