My battery seems to be dying out pretty fast, it was at full charge at 1 pm today and i havent really used my phone and its at 41 percent already. I have made two 5 minute calls and a couple text messages only. Are we sure that data insnt running on the backgroung??

Ok guys, I uploaded a version 1.1 without slide to unlock on the first post.

My plan now is to fix/correct any issues before adding/removing any programs.

I started my first 8 week session today of school (discrete mathematics and database management) so that takes priority, I will try to keep up with everyones issues...

I just cant keep up with my current reputation of putting a release out every other day ;) I feel we do have a pretty fast and fairly stable platform so once all or most of the issues you guys have mentioned are fixed then we will move forward.

Also it would be a big help if you have an issue and can find a fix please send it my way. That will save me some time and ensure it gets implented faster.

regular keyboard sip not holding between softreset seems to be something with 21109, cause it happened with mighty 4.3 also with just clean hard reset/change keyboard softreset

dream, no go without slide dialer, screen is all messed up, no number, text from sreen before showing through (like no paint event getting fired)

do u have s2u2 installed cuz i havent installed that yet but maybe its causing it...i am using core player v1.3.0 build 6213 and have watched benders game which is avi and pineapple express which is mp4...only setting i have changed on core is menu>options>zoom>stretch to screen and installed programs are resco explorer + registry add in, advanced config tool 3.3,clear temp, coreplayer,h torch,icontact,nfl mobile live, sms nuke, sprint pic mail & tv,power deck fix,tnyynt sdtuneup,musicid, transparant clock,background4allpages v.02, a_c s2p, tictactoe, &monopoly here & now...
also i useto hide my mucis tab but i didnt this time...i hope this helps but if not i have really have no idea

I do have 1 issue, I cannot get my GPS to work, I am on Bell.

Any way to fix the battery draining issue without reflashing? I am loving this ROM except for that. I also like the slide to answer, it keeps me from accidentaly declining calls. Oh and by the way, my coreplayer is working perfectly fine. I have the latest version and its running great. So it might be something he has installed in his phone causing conflicts.

I know Bell's GPS chip is locked by default. Have you unlocked it?

need to be more specific. what programs are you using, have you downloaded any data with quickgps, have you changed any com ports, etc

NO, the bell gps is not locked. I had it working before I flashed to this ROM.

2 minor issues that i am looking for fixes for and will post back if i am successful...

1 - "Vibrate on Connect" on phone settings advanced tab no longer there.
- I liked this feature because sometimes the phone acts up and doesnt connect properly when calling someone, or you here yourself in the phone and not the caller...this way i knew if it was working or not.

2 - When someone calls or when i call my voicemail, the screen blacks out too quick to press any buttons, and when i turn the screen on again it blacks right out....


some may like it that way, not i, i will post my results with an edit, if i have any success...

For your second issue, you can use a cab called No Sleep Raphael. I would upload it, but I'm at work. I'm sure if you search you will be able to find it. I hope that helps.

Do you have any 3rd party programs installed or have you been in a lower than normal signal area. I think someone reported really good battery life... I have had pretty good battery life.

How has everyones battery been with 1.1?

Maybe I should try reflashing because my battery life is not good at all :(.
I left my phone charging over night. I unpluged it at 6 am, I didnt use it at all and by 8:30 am it was at 80 % already. :(
Another thing I have noticed is that sometimes the battery icon gets stuck at 59%. Then when I soft reset it goes back to what it should be. I dont really have 3rd party apps except for coreplayer, and some games.

I think it has something do with the battery driver for the fastcharge is in 10% increments and the .dll that houses the icons may be missing a couple of the images and its causing issues. As soon as I find someone with some good icons and no percentage i will be using that.

Hey Dream is ROM 1.1 gonna be it for awhile.. I have held back thinking there will be another soon. So far using 1.0 but see some quirks and would jus wait for 1.2 if its coming. Otherwise 1.1 is where I'll go towards... Just a heads up if you have an eta etc...

When you flash make sure you do a hardreset before doing anything else.

My battery life stunk, when I was using Blue Tooth or had it enabled. I turned it off when not in use or not in the car, and now battery lasts 10x longer.

Hey Dream, did you use a provisional XML file to organize all the shortcuts in the Programs File? if so, would you be willing to share it?
I really liked that feature, and I've been trying to use UC to organize everything, but sofar, no love. It moves some, but not all. I've been going crazy trying to figure out why.

I've been having an issue with voice command will stop running saying there's low memory, even though I usually have 110mB+ free ram.

It was actually a combination of provxml's and initflashfiles.dat files which had to be cooked in... attach your xml and I'll check it out.
