Hello again Ivan, have you thought about my suggestion on adding the nullKB?

Also, move the Communications tab over by settings, it only seems logical to be there instead of after programs. It's just a quick manila edit.

Also when turning up the volume the speaker has a very violent ramp up at the half-way mark, is it possible to make it more gradual between the lowest setting and highest setting? Incremental volume adjustments right now seems to be (on a scale of 1-9) 1 2 3 7 9, is it possible to make it more like 1 3 5 7 9 ?

OK after some thinking i have decided i will completely drop the making of GSM Manilla roms.

I will keep making and updating the Sprint base and Sprint manilla rom since I want it to look Stock but have extra settings to work properly.

I have fixed the Sprint stock clock and will be adding it on my next release, will drop second today and will add 4 icon per row reg edit. I will not be adding any custom task bars since I want it to look as Stock as possible but with different start icon. lol

and its okay, i think i'm tired of the GSM Manilla anyway, i might like the sprint one again. if anything, i can always replace the manilla files in the windows folder with the gsm one x)

I'm having 2 issues with this ROM (Sprint Manila 1.2):

1) I installed the Sprint Picture Mail cab, but it didn't add an account to the email Manila tab like it used to. I have not recieved any pic-mail, so I don't know if they appear under the txt message Manila tab or what. This may not be an issue as I prefer picture mail grouped with text messages, I just wonder why it is different than before and hope my recieved picture mails will show up somewhere.

2) I installed the 15-tabs Manila files in order to get Call History and Calendar with the correct neon-icon (I have tried a few cabs for this, but they either dont work or have the wrong calendar icon, so I used the method of copying files to the windows directory). The problem is that TF3D config won't let me remove the Sprint TV tab. If I uncheck it and reboot it appears at the end after programs-tab. When I switch to the TV tab, it also gives a connection error, but I don't care, I just want to get rid of it. Please someone tell me how to get rid of the Sprint TV tab. (never had this problem with stock or other ROMs)


Other than that I am loving it! There are only a few app changes I would make:
+Add back to settings Update Profile and Update PRL (is there a cab for this?).
+Add back Windows Live Search and Voice Recorder.
-Remove Windows Live, OzIM, and Zip.
-Remove all non-stock apps: SPB ScreenShot, Pocket RAR, PIM Backup, PHM RegEdit, Messenger, psShutXP, BAF MSL Grabber, GS Player, Large TitleBar Settings, MP3 Trimmer, Music ID, and Battery Monitor.

*Also, I'd add the calendar and call waiting tabs, remove the Sprint Music link in that tab, and remove the Sprint TV tab (all of which [except removing TV] can be done manually though)

*Oh, and I'd rename the "Sprint Music" tab to just "Music". Can any one tell me how to do that manually?

Oh, and I would love the busy icon to change from the beach-ball to the vista circle. Is that possible to do manually or is that a ROM only mod?

MP3 Trimmer, Messenger are both stock apps....I just switched back from my factory ROM today...they were there before as a sprint phone.

Pocket RAR, PIM Backup, PHM RegEdit or some similar program should be on almost any device, to me it makes sense to include them.

I like having quick access to many of those helpful utilities, so I like having them included.


One thing that I'm still trying to figure out...it sounds like there are tools available to edit the tab interface. Is it possible to include one of those tools in the build so that it is easy for the user to tweak/customize to his preference?

I still need to go search and figure out what is the best tool to use, and then grab the .cab, but I just thought something like that would be another handy utility to include.
