Dogguy doesn't have a kitchen. Dogguy has a kitchen maker (turns roms into kitchens). If Bepe's environment won't run, it's probably because you either set it up wrong, or are missing Visual C/C++ runtime files.

...try this link:

http://ppckitchen.org/Downloads/BuildOS.msi

Even though it says msi in the URL, I get BuildOS.exe as the actual file downloaded, and running that doesn't work.

edit: Changing the file extension to msi after download resolves the issue, but I bet I'm not the only one who has this problem.

Something wrong with your downloader then, because that file clearly is .msi on the server and therefore should be .msi when downloaded.

Well, FYI this is Opera. So I'm guessing all other Opera users would have the same problem.

Re: kitchen buildOS.exe won't load

buildos.exe the link from this page http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=46526 says "buildos installer" (it's about a 32mb file) .it's not a x64 system. i've checked for the latest update thru automatic update. i'm pretty sure it's a system problem since it works for others, but can anyone tell me what.

Re: kitchen buildOS.exe won't load

Simple. It won't run on a 64bit version of windows. I have that problem with my desktop cause it has Windows XP x64 installed.

It runs fine on x64 systems. Quite a few users use it on x64.

If you look at the URL for what it is downloading, you'll see it's a link to BuildOS.msi. If your browser screws that up to be buildos.exe, you'll have to fix that on your end.

desktop or mobile? It's hard to believe they'd make an error like that - I'd report it as a bug.

wow that solved the problem for me! I used internet download manager, and didn't realize it was suppose to download the link as an msi instead of exe. changed the extension to msi and it actually ran. don't know why it did that. thanks!
