Ok - ignore my first question - I found the thread via search and didn't see the other sticky in this forum. Don't want to get busted like a newbie for not reading...

Still would love to know if anyone has done this on Verizon successfully and if they had to do anything special with the radio.

Sorry... the same error as my previous listing. Flashing would time out at 88-95%... weird. But anyways it's working on my old XP machine.

Happy Thanksgiving.

Keep up the good work. Donation is on it's way.

100% an error of using an old buildos.exe. Download the current buildos.msi and you will magically be fixed. Updater should do it to...but use the .msi to be certain.

Quick question:

I've been an avid BuildOS user from my Apache and Mogul days. You guys ROCK and have made me the envy of all my PPC toting friends.

So I just got the Verizon HTC Pro.

1. Where can I get a stock Verizon ROM just in case I mess up my own one.

HTC I think...or ImCokeMan has it in a sticky.
Quote:

2. Do I need to do any radio updates/unlocking specific to Verizon? I recall this being the case when the Verizon version came out (always later than Sprint) in the Mogul line.
The unlocker will be specific to Verizon, as will the rom and kitchen.

3. Has anyone successfully flashed a Verizon HTC Pro?
Yes, but not to a custom rom :) (no unlocker yet, remember?)

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

I just noticed that after flashing using the new kitchen I am having issues with "mark all as read"

When I chose mark all as read it takes me to a screen in which it says "select a device to which the file must be pushed" and it pops up blue tooth devices around me such as my other phone.

anyone else having this problem - and how do i resolve it?

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

everything is fine so far, except with the reg edit that allows the same background of the home screen on manila for the rest of the tabs. None of the other tabs change they stay the granite color.

1st error is a conflict between packages

2nd error means there was a build failure of some kind, more than likely earlier in the log. Build again and see if it repeats. Most likely solved by rebooting and then trying to build.

bug?

manilla + background on all tabs selected.

Seems only ppck.png is selected as background and can't be changed?

gguruusa,

Any idea why i am running in to the email bug with the new build? When I click on "Mark all as Read" it brings up a screen for me to pick a bluetooth device and says "select a device to push the file to..."

Your help is greatly appreciated

After a few more cook and flashing, i still don't get tf3d to start. I reflashed the stock roms , it worked , i tried juggalo roms and it works. for some reason after the cook of the rom , it does not flash the way it shold. and plus the worldcard mobile does not install properly either.

It's probably an incompatibility with one of the kitchen options.
Mine TF3D works fine... but I didn't chose any of the Manilla or weather options.

Hint for successful kitchen flashing: Don't select everything in the kitchen. It won't work. Start off with what you absolutely need as the starting point. Make sure that works and then with subsequent flashes you can start adding.

No need. Make sure buildos is closed while you are running updater. If you still get the problem, you might need to reboot and try again.

Re: WM6.1 build 20931 kitchen

Need a little help with this kitchen. I used this kitchen a lot for my Mogul but this will be the first time with a Touch Pro.
I kind of like the stock Sprint setup theme and TF3D but I want to remove some stuff that I don't use and add other programs that I like. I have a high plan so I will be adding Sprint Navigation and perhaps TV and music (hardly use the latter two). And I like Opera 9.5 (stock build 2316).

Beginner question: what do I select to have the look of the stock Sprint ROM? There seems to be many choices and some may be duplicates.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
tsp

You need something updated. Which base are you trying to build?

If all you did was edit the version, you screwed it up and you aren't running what you thing you are (unless you are talking about raphael_core.rar...in which case that is all that is necessary - I'll update that library later today).

I have cooked a few ROMs starting with the 6700 but I am stumped on this one, I cannot get the Touchflo 3D to work, I cant even find it in the OEM list, I have found a touchflo but it is not the home application that comes with the shipped build. Am I missing something?

I found one combination that kind of worked, it seems either Colonels Manila or the black phone keypad was causing it.
