I get the Verizon TP tomorrow, I got the Storm since Sprint has left my area mostly without coverage over the last two months.

The Storm really is a cool concept phone, but like a concept car, it needs a alot of work prior to it working for my business phone.

I hope someone can unlock the TP on Verizon. I hate their system of killing features, but they are the only game in town. Other cell co's looks like swiss cheese on their coverage maps....I wonder how many mathematically/statistally lie about the coverage.

I have now uploaded the VZW Touch Pro Dump.rar for the developers to due their magic.

Sweet.. hopefully they do something before January 19th (Everyone who has purchased the TP since it came out's return deadline. Extended due to the holiday. I'm still on the fence about returning it, giving it some extra time to see if we can unlock the GPS and speed it up a little.

I shoul dbe ordeing the VZW Touch Pro within two weeks

I switched form Sprint to Verizon becasue the wife got a job with VZW, I had the Sprint Touch and had a blast playing with the ROM's - I'm bummed with nerf that VZW did - but have no choice - dont have the $ to buy a unlocked TP and slap a VZW radio and then have it break 3 months down the road.

PPCGeeks are our last hope!

well the unlocker here ( http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=42503 ) works for me, but the rom update utitility won't actually install, it gets to the bar and stays on 0% then fails, which sucks, but im not even sure what the hell a rom is anyway. what is a rom?

my phone says security unlocked so i know it is unlocked.
