Ok...so after you extract the mighty rom, and you connect your phone and activesync is established, then you just run the Custom_RUU.exe file in the mighty rom you extracted and the flashing will begin.

Very good choice in rom, by the way.

when i run the file; i get to the 4 assure steps; make sure usb is establish; phone is charged; activesync is on; blabla..i click next; then next again; but then it comes up file open error; will it still run if im not in bootloader mode; i keep turning my phone off getting into bootloader mode and then i lose connection to activesync

you're not suppose to do anything on the phone. Just leave it sitting there and follow the steps i just posted.

It sounds like maybe you have not extracted the Mightyrom download. After you download it (to desktop or wherever), you have to right click on it and choose extract here.

i did extract the file for sure; how come step 3 or 4 says to get on bootloader mode??

That's a different way of doing it. There are several ways of flashing a rom to your phone and I told you the easiest way. If you want to do it the longer, more difficult way, then follow the instructions in the first post.

Whichever way you choose to do it, it will work out to the same result. And I'll help you any way you choose, you just have to pick one way to do it and follow all the steps through. If you can't figure out that particular way to do it, then you can move on to trying a different way. Know what i mean?

i hear you out bud and i appreciate all of this...i just erased the mighty rom files...gonna start over now...so i dont even need the ruu file and just download the might rom and extract it...is that what your saying???...what is the ruu file for??
