Yea, Y4J disappeared quite a while ago. His last post was 2 months ago. I agree that this is the best ROM out there. I hope he comes back...

OMG this is not good news. Anyone know this person personally or have away to check up on him? Makes one worried anything could be wrong. Mods can you send an email to the user make sure he's alright he might need our support.

Anyone else have an answer for me. Can I take this rom and build on it in a kitchen?

Yup./.. I have tried all of the roms. one come close to the speed and fluidness on opera 9.5 on this rom. He is using Omnia drivers but also he did something else because even other roms using omnia drivers dont render opera 9.5 as smooth,. O\I wish I knew his technique or tweaks of drivers or anything. but he did do something right.

yea, honestly I think alot of the early builds like some of JD's in the 1.x or 2.x realm were quite a bit faster (I know this Y4J was started based on an early of JD's). I am not sure what all these other roms seem to have gained. Y4J's 4.0 is the only one that I can use the phone without the keypad lagging out for 10 seconds after checking my voicemail.

This will go down as one of the greatest TP ROMs of all time. It is old, but yet it still runs Fantastic!

One thing that bugs me form this rom thou is the fact that I cannot select asll my emails in one stroke. kinda like highlight them blue and then tap to slect delete. On this rom It wont highlight blue... i need to do one at a time to delete them. Anyone know a cure?

Slide your finger on the left most part of the screen starting at the bottom

You can do ^ that or download the SafeInboxExtender which is what I use with every ROM and gives me the "Mark All as Read" and "Delete All" options. It works fantastic because if you get multiple text messages from different people you can just open text messages and hit Mark All as Read and TF3D count goes to 0. I hated reading my text messages and then still have 3 or what ever unread. Plus if you get a ton of e-mails a day, you can hit the Delete all, it will ask you if you are sure, click yes, and bam, all e-mails are gone. Let me know if you want me to upload the .cab.
