Yes, it is a reason. The PPCKitchen is stickied. This one is also stickied. Stickies are to draw peoples attention to a certain subject, or at least that's what I'd imagine they are for. Since this is the upgrades section, I think its prudent to alert people to kitchens that are available so they can build their own custom ROMs. Its for convienience, so people don't have to find it on a whim. You just go to the Pro section, go to the upgrades subforum, choose CDMA, and boom...theres a kitchen available, something people who are looking to upgrade their devices might be interested in.

In the future, you may wish to PM a mod to ask things like that, since they are the ones who stickied it.

And the reason Erice might have gotten defensive is the same reason I did when I read this...you have a certain additude to your comments a lot of the time. I've read through threads before where you come off as very condescending and have an air of "I'm better than you are" about you sometimes. I've even seen it in the chatroom a few times. The way you posted your question, it came off as though you were looking down on it or something. It doesnt sound like you are just curious as to why its stickied...

I don't know....just my take on it.

DaPeeps, to an unbiased observer, "y is this stickied?", in and of itself, portrays really little, if any, attitude. Its only four words (barely), and has no 'connotation' other than an ignorant one. But it seems you know a lot more about said commenter than I?

Its interesting how one has come to build a certain profile of one's self online...when most of the time, one has no idea who one is offline, in "real-time". Its late. Im babbling. I have nothing else to do! My Touch Pro is (now) just about freakin perfect!

My D-Pad sucks though! I hated the Mogul's D-pad, but damn...id give just about anything to have one like it (or better) on my Pro!

5 minutes and a little super glue and you can add the desired bling to your tpro.

If by "bling", you mean hot pink swarovski crystals, then I'll pass. But you also seem to be implying that I somehow detach the dpad from my mogul and glue it onto the Pro? Thats absolutely brilliant!!! Thanks. =)

Apparently I am not the only one who took it like that. In fairness though, no...I don't know Nex very well at all. The comments I made were based off of random comments Ive read...so I guess I will just leave it at that.

You can't even say ignorant - the question was rhetorical (indicating he's very well informed).

...and you gathered all this from those four words alone? My point was: if I've never lurked around these forums and had no idea who Nex is (which I dont), then his post "y is this stickied?" is supposed to be obviously rhetorical? Its pretty hard to distinguish tonalities online. Thats all I was basically saying.

eRice, Thanks for the kitchen, BTW. I havent had time to try it out yet, but its nice to know its available!
