well... that's a difficult question to answer... for the most part I search at the SYS and OEM folders for something pertaining to the application I don't want. This is usually a shortcut or an exe. Then I hope that the app is contained in it's own folder and not the OEM\OEMAPPS folder. If it's alone, I delete the whole folder. If it's not I usually delete the exe and shortcut. I know the exes and shortcuts aren't the storage space hogs (images and sounds usually are), but it's better than nothing. Be careful though, don't delete something if you don't know EXACTLY what program(s) use it.

Re: [4-24-09] eRice TP Kitchen v1.07 [SYS OS 5.2.21501 Build 21501.5.0.70] All Carrie

After sucessfully installing this new rom on my device, I've noticed something that I did not with my stock rom(telus). When the schedule checks for email it automatically opens the email program on the screen (whether there is new mail or not). I am using spb shell 3.01 and it used to check mail, without opening the email program, and show new # in the mail widget icon.

Also, I cannot seem to be able to map network drives over wifi. It stalls, and consumes the device for long periods of time. Before the rom using resco I was sucessful.

Any ideas? Many thanks.

Open your messaging options and make sure that you keep display account picker when opening messaging checked and the prob will go away

Re: [4-24-09] eRice TP Kitchen v1.07 [SYS OS 5.2.21501 Build 21501.5.0.70] All Carrie

few issues.

1) always locks up on touch pro boot screen. have to reset the device and it boots up the 2nd or 3rd try.

2) HTC guardian always loads, even when i use telus or alltel carrier. Why?

3) Anytime I add my own carrier OEM it will not boot, it stays on the touch pro screen and no matter how many resets it won't boot. I need a cricket carrier added to the oem.

4) Many programs are listed in the OEM package but not allowed to be unchecked in the buildos. Can we add some option.xml so we can remove these without having to delete the whole package out of oem?

Are you using Vista? I get this problem with vista sometimes too. I find unplugging the phone, entering bootloader (by holding down Vol Down and Power on a soft reset), then plugging it back in to my PC usually works. If that doesn't wokr then I copy the nbh to my storage card in the root folder and name it RAPHIMG.nbh. Then I do a manual flash by holding the center button, vol down and power on a soft reset. You can find more info on the manual method if you search.

cricket carrier that works on calkulin kitchen, i assume it works on erice also. i haven't tested with your kitchen but i know yours and calkulins are similar. this should work without causing the phone to lock up on boot.
