It should be fine....but rule of thumb is always backup....

Hi Guys, Total noob here (but totaling willing to donate to the crew).

I want to take baby steps here....

Question:
#1. If I unlock my Verizon TP & not flash yet, will the GPS be enabled (as well as everything still being intact)??

#2. When/if I do flash....will I have to worry about my phone # being valid or do I have to enter esn#'s or whatever?

Thanks in advance=D>

Thanks for understanding.
The relocker did not relock my phone or another poster that I am aware of.

How did I relock it. Active sync, run the relocker program, which then showed status and then the phone rebooted.

It said it flashed, yet after a hard reset, lookie lookie, it still says "unlocked"

Another poster found the same thing.

1. No. GPS will not be enabled. This only unlocks your phone so you are able to perform a ROM flash.

2. No worries. I have already flashed NexVision's ROM and had no trouble.

If the phone isn't relocked does that cause problems?

Should you want to take the phone back, as I did, the phone will show it has been hacked.

I took mine back to Best Buy, and did a hard reset. The Rom is stock, but the bootloader ended up being unlocked. They could have technically refused to take it back.

Be interesting to see if anyone has ever successfully locked the phone with this
