does anyone know a work around for this

I just received a replacement TP - I installed the Verizon MR1 update, then went to unlock the SPL - and my TP hangs on the unlocker - yep, it is SPL 0.40 instead of 0.35 ...

Tried reinstall the Stock Verizon ROM from November, RUU hangs on this as well ...
I didn't pay attention to see if the replacement phone came with .35 and was updated to .40 when I installed the MR1 update, or if it came with .40 to begin with

Looks like Verizon needs a new unlocker if you have .40 ... :(

try this. Click on Start-Settings-Connections-USB to PC, and uncheck the box under Activesync. Then try the flash again.

A public shout out and thank you to rawdikrik in Post 370.

Problem Details:
Touch Pro
Mighty Mike 5 ROM
Windows XP/ActiveSync
Problem: Error 262 (quick flash of 'no image found') after bootloader

I wouldn't say I'm a complete noob, but I'm not Master Hacker in any case. I received a TP from Assurion a few weeks back and after having used a WM 6.5 ROM from someone on a Mogul, I thought how hard could this be? I'm very comfortable with unlocking, flashing, etc.

I followed the posts. I searched the posts. I updated .Net. Every muther-luvin' time I'd try ANYTHING, I'd get the 262 error. I rebooted, I tried to flash from the card (totally worthless for me), I formatted three ways from Sunday. I worked on this dang phone for over 6 hours last night and was about ready to give up at 2:30a when I ran across post 370. I figured what the heck, and what do you know - it worked. So then I had to stay up an extra hour adding programs, cabs, customizing etc.

So, big big kudos to you, rawdikrik, Sir! Thank you a bunch.
