After reading, it looks like these are the questions you'll ask:
1) Yes, it was on activesync and no, it was not syncing.
2) I've tried many ROMS and had it error before, but this is a phone fresh from VZ.
3) I used the VZW download. I tried it manually, also.
4) When I do the power/volume down/hard reset button, it flashes the red, green, and blue and then immediately gets stuck on the loading. . . again.
5) The error is that the usb is not connected or the phone is not connected to the usb.

Try this. Click Start-Settings-Connections-USB to PC, then uncheck the box under activesync.

Still error 620. Bummer!

Well, I never heard of error 620, so I don't know what you're doin over there. Make sure you follow the "Preparations" and "Instructions" in post #1. Also, remove the battery for 5 minutes and try again. Also, remove the memcard and leave it out.

Pls tell me what to do
I want install flash player7 on my HTC touch diamond.I download winrar file and extract.I download Universal Extractor.then run.after clack the Universal Extractor Archive it show C:\users\xxxx\appdata\local\temp\ is not writable

Guys I made a mistake...

I meant to unlock my new phone, but ran the relocker instead :| I had the damn thing in the same folder =/. Am I screwed on unlocking my phone now that I 'relocked' it?

EDIT: booted back into the ROM, and for some reason it was back to .25.. and was able to run the correct tool. so NEVERMIND! i r dumb

Hi, I just got my Touch Pro today and I wanted to Flash it to Mighty Rom 5. I'm having some problems with the whole Hard SPl thing. So I downloaded everything from here, I have the Raphael cdma on my desktop. I already extracted it to a folder I called SPL also on my desktop. I did this then ran the exe in there. It opened up Rom Update Utility For The PDA Phone. Should I continue? Or am I missing a step? Thanks, I really don't want to brick my phone lol
