Manual method worked, thanks for your help!

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
cmonex quick question for you, once the hardspl gets installed is there another way to get the drivers on your local computer to recognize the device in boot loader mode, I've got multiple computers and would like to install roms from both of them, but it appears the drivers only get installed when initially installing the boot loader? Thanks,

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
I would recommend just flashing by storage card. Just drop the rom.nbh file in your storage card root, rename it to RAPHIMG.nbh and voldown+enter+power and BINGO BANGO, ready to flash.

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
Ok thanks all for responding.
I some how clicked on the Diamond ROM instead of the TP and just never noticed it. Oh wait I see on No2Chems site he has a bad link it says its the Touch Pro but its the diamond Rom. HA! Thanks! I take this all back ok now I am confused??? The RUU still gives me the ERROR [244] Invalid Model ID . Whatever I think my problems are ROM related, I thought it was me having the wrong RUU? |
Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

do you think the rep will actually put the phone into bootloader and check the version? otherwise there's no difference and it would prolly go un-noticed, then be resold to someone whom may or may not ever know. |

try taking Enterbootloader.exe from the hardSPL package, and run that on the phone instead of the sspl-manual, see if it goes any better. but again why the hell did you relock if you weren't going to send it in for warranty :P |

THEY WILL CHECK - ask juggalo!!! they refused to take phone back because he left a custom boot screen on it! so yes relock if you want to return the phone. |
Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
It mostly works for me. I ran the Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.exe and it stated to flash, but got stuck on the tri-color screen, in unlocked mode, but the unlocker util said that it failed. This was because of the long time it took to re-recognize the device under VMWare. I have a XPpro32bit host, and a XP32bit virtual machine that runs my normal working OS. It got stuck on 0% and I could hear the XP host recognizing the TP, but it takes a min, then VMware takes over, disconnects it and white VMware was reconnecting it to the VM that was running active sync and the unlocker, the unlocker timed out. I let the VM XP finish recognizing the TP, then restarted the unlocker. The unlocker was not able to find a version the 2nd time around, but it did start going from 0 to 100% on both the desktop and the TP(It seemed to take under 2 seconds to go from 0-100%), then rebooted like normal. Then when the TP rebooted again it was back to the normal mode. I did successfully get back to the tri-color screen and it did show as unlocked with spl 037, so everything did run correctly at the end. Is it possible to adjust that time out to give the unlocker more time to pause while the Plug and play runs? This is also to let others know at least one person was able to unlock a TP with VMware and a XP Host and VM combination. This was NOT a issue when unlocking my older HTC Vogue on the exact same VMware Workstation/XP Host/XP VM setup.
Host XP sp2 with 4 gigs of ram, 2.16ghz Core2duo Dell Latitude D830 VM XP sp2 with 1 gig of ram, 2 cpus for this VM, no other VM's running at the time. |

Hi, I am new I am having some problems with the HSPL_037 as everytime it tells me unexpected error has occurred. One of its dependencies was not found.
I have used the sprint clean up program is that was it causing the problem |

Do I only need to unlock the phone once? I've already flashed a rom onto my TP but I would like to try Y4J's newest rom. Do I need to go through the unlock process once more, or can i go straight to flashing the rom

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
you should only need to hardspl once

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
Hey Guys,
I'm new to Phone modding, as I just got my first PDA Phone, the Touch Pro. I just have a quick question... Is changing the ROM primarily to make the phone run faster? |

There are several reasons including the ability to create a custom ROM with the programs that you use, so if/when you hard reset you still have all your programs build into the ROM. Also you can take from the latest builds of WM which can offer more speed/stability in the OS, plus sometimes new features, not previously avail, are available on custom/kitchen ROMs Feel free to add anything i missed guys ;-) |

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
So far, all I have done is update the .Net Cf to 3.5 to run the Advanced Config. Program, (which doesn't work and doesn't speed up the phone like its supposed to) and Install a Registry Editor...

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
Thank you guys. Great work!

Re: Touch Pro CDMA Hard-SPL brought to you by CDMA Raphael Elite Team
Very odd... I just simply unlocked my phone using this HARD SPL and my phone is quicker. From portrait to landscape is faster, typing lag is gone....
Make sense? |
